As a Software Engineer in this role, you'll collaborate with a self-organized team to devise and execute solutions within the Robotics. Harnessing both industry expertise and Pega’s cutting-edge technology, the team crafts products that address business challenges and enhance operational efficiencies for our customers.

What You'll Do at Pega:

Software Design and Development

• Actively participate in design and development of applications. Leverage best in class Pega technology to drive the design, implementation, quality, and support for GOALS -> EPICS -> User stories using scaled agile methodology.
• Assist in the identification of enhancements to Pega’s products.
• Collaborate with product management to help define and align product goals with software deliverables Technologies you will work on – Pega, REST Services, Postgres, Oracle, DB2, Tomcat.
• Take ownership of the components/tasks and make sure they are delivered with great quality.

Process Adoption and Learning                                                                                                                                 

• Follow scrum practices and report work status, progress and impediments in a timely fashion.
• Become technically proficient with Pega Platform technology/tools.
• Continuously look for opportunities to learn and improve skills.
• Learn to use platform diagnostic tools to identify and communicate any potential risks/defects in the application.

• You possess strong communication and inter-personal skills and thrive in a robust environment that imposes new challenges frequently. Strong PRPC technical skills, preferably Pega 8 and above. Participates in design and development of features.
• Actively contribute to innovations or POCs team

What You've Accomplished:

• 2 - 3 years of Pega Development experience in analysis, design, and application deployment of Enterprise application systems.
• Exposure to integration technologies like XML, JSON, REST, SOAP.
• Partner with internal clients, like Product Managers, to align business goals with implementation results Thorough understanding of (Pega based) applications’ architecture you have previously worked on Pega certifications (CSA/CSSA) is an added plus.
• Good experience/understanding of Javascript, CSS, HTML is desired.
