Sustainability Specialist

Meet Our Team:

You will be joining a team that is creating and communicating the Sustainability story for Pega. As we are developing it we are communicating it. We are a hands on creative group that is educating anyone that listens why this topic is important from a business case first and environmental case second. We are passionate in what we do and we love telling our story while making a difference for Pega, our customers and the environment.

Picture Yourself at Pega:

You will work a team of passionate individuals that are creating and sustainability story from the ground up. You will be the subject matter expert in statutory reporting for all things environmental. This is truly a foundational role that will allow you to help build a program and design systems to report our sustainability progress.

What You'll Do at Pega:

Be the subject matter expert on what we need to do to make required Sustainability Statutory reporting for entities around the world.
•    Work with all facets of the Pega organization understanding our business, our vendors and our global GHG foot print. 
•    Lead the effort within Pega to meet our SBTI goals working with internal stakeholders and vendors globally.

Who You Are:

•    An articulate and knowledgeable Sustainability professional passionate about helping a company understand the benefits of reducing GHG and communicating the same to Governments around the world.
•    Someone that is comfortable with complex problems with many facets and can break these challenges down into manageable parts and solve them.
•    Someone that is comfortable communicating with all levels of an organization and can break down complex issues in to understandable snipets.
•    A person that loves analytics to measure progress and communicate accomplishments.
•    Someone that loves new challenges and thrives in a dynamic and every changing environment.
 

What You've Accomplished:

•    Track record of working independently and able to show a track record of creating and managing programs.
•    Able to communicate what they are working on and why it is important to the company and its customers.
•    You have developed a deep understanding of the CDP, CSRD and the requirements each asks for and how best to respond, communicating the best picture possible. 
•    Made a difference for the previous companies you have worked for in the area of sustainability.
