Senior Technical Project Manager

Picture Yourself at Pega:

You are responsible for project managing key corporate strategic initiatives. These projects are global and involve other cross functional teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with leaders across various Pega teams, drive critical tasks to completion, and drive the team to established KPIs.  Additional responsibilities include: liaising with key stakeholders including senior leadership, as well as Pega Partners, identifying opportunities to optimize internal processes, and driving decisions to done.

What You'll Do at Pega:

Manage projects to identify, drive, and track Cloud Migration Program KPIs 
•    Implement project management and reporting to meet project delivery commitments
•    Support business process improvements 
•    Partner with GTM and Enablement teams to drive better client and partner outcomes
•    Motivate, influence, and deliver cross functional collaboration to drive program success
 

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate should be an intelligent, motivated, and accomplished project management professional who has a track record of defining and leading sophisticated IT Program Portfolios.

What You've Accomplished:

•    5+ years of project management experience with IT projects
•    Comprehensive understanding of project management theory and team dynamics
•    Strong acumen in Business Process planning and management.
•    Experience working in a large global environment with multiple systems integrated as the delivery platform
•    Skill at managing cross functional projects where direct authority over the project resources does not exist; ability to effectively influence without authority
•    Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge of technologies and products 
•    Ability to work with individuals of varying degrees of technical understanding; should be able to adjust communication style based on targeted audience
•    Ability to work effectively and professionally in stressful situations
•    Effective interpersonal skills including facilitation skills and conflict resolution
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
•    Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
•    Education: bachelor’s degree
