[Narrator] The COVID-19 pandemic has forced countries around the world to close their borders to some degree, and many employers have had to close their facilities to mitigate the spread of the virus. As the situation improves, enterprises now need to reopen their facilities, allowing their employees to return to the workplace. In order to reduce the impact of COVID-19 outbreak, currencies on their workers and customers, businesses need to plan accordingly to address the specific exposure risks and control the routes of transmission. At Pega, we think it's critical to help companies plan the return of their employees. For that, it's essential to make sure every employee is in good health before returning to the workplace. Thanks to Pega's native capabilities, every employee can run their health assessment using the channel they're comfortable with and they will be told by the system what their risk level is. Facility and team managers will then work together to prepare an action plan to ensure places of work are ready to reopen, as well as making sure returning teams are adequately staffed to allow work to restart whilst protecting the health and safety of each and every employee. Employers will then coordinate the return of their employees, ensuring every stakeholder is informed accordingly, such as the security agent scanning a QR code sent to the employee as requested by the facility manager. What about going beyond this action plan? Employee's health conditions may evolve and we think that it is vital for employers and employees to continue gathering new information to safely mitigate any risks that may result from adapting operational procedures. Every worker can update at any time their initial assessment and report new symptoms with additional information that would be helpful to identify all the employees potentially infected and who might be unaware. Employers and workers can work together proactively and anticipate any virus spread. When the pandemic team receives a new case, the person in charge of this investigation will get at their fingertips all the information they need to identify who are the potential contacts that will help determine the routes of infection using the information the employee shared when reporting the new symptoms. For most employers, protecting workers will depend on emphasizing basic infection prevention measures. We think it's also critical to be able to identify and isolate potentially infectious individuals to protect customers, visitors, and others at the place of work, and achieve all this in one single digital intelligent platform.
