You will be an influential team leader and manage a team of talented account executives and client success managers targeted to sell into defined territories and/or vertical markets of existing and new accounts. This position includes the hiring and coaching of a world-class enterprise sales team, pipeline development, strategic planning, account management, accurate forecasting and consistent achievement of defined sales quota.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Develop effective measures and maintain quality of planning to ensure requisite levels of productivity are achieved to reach team and individual sales goals.
- Define sales targets, and plan and coordinate efforts of sales staff in accordance with corporate objectives while maintaining acceptable levels of expense control.
- Develop outbound marketing initiatives in conjunction with the Marketing department and provide customer feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and industry trends by conducting market research to stay informed about industry developments.
- Negotiate and close complex SaaS deals
Who You Are:
A motivated enterprise software sales leader, driven to add value to your clients and their business process automation strategies. You are able to push the customer’s thinking to quickly gain credibility, build a strong relationship and contribute to the success of our clients and Pega.
What You've Accomplished:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years experience in complex technology sales
- Deep understanding of the Federal health space required
- Extensive industry related sales experience, including experience in sales management
- Ability to learn and understand complex data relationships and rules-based systems design
- Ability to persuade and influence, using appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of thoughts, plans, activities, services and products
- Ability to negotiate and explore alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain support and acceptance by all parties
