What You'll Do at Pega:
- Impact and drive Pega to help us with our Pega Cloud "as-a-Service" evolution
- Help support high-level architectural specifications, ensuring functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms with large clients.
- Generate conceptual/logical architectures, and risk assessments
- Evaluate new and emerging technologies and determine applicability to current and future projects and markets
- Communicate with a team of developers, consultants, Product owners, and Pega clients about project progress and risk, presenting alternative approaches and plans when appropriate
- Review technical architecture for integration with third party technologies
Who You Are:
- Desired experience in deploying, and running cloud native workloads using Kubernetes, microservices, and other cloud native technologies; certifications in Kubernetes (CKAD, CKA, CKS, AWS, Azure or GCP) is good to have.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience driving technical and non-functional requirements critical to achieving the client success. This includes (but is not limited to), Architecture, Containerization, and cloud technologies.
- Good understanding of applications in clustered deployments and distributed systems
- Experience deploying software in containers like Docker
- Knowledge of databases including Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL (Cassandra)
