Our Cloud Cybersecurity Team is focused on identifying security vulnerabilities across Pega's infrastructure. Moreover, we plan and conduct offensive security campaigns, red teaming exercises and coordinate 3rd party penetration testing to ensure robust security measures are in place. Our team collaborates closely with other security and engineering teams to enhance the overall security posture of our cloud infrastructure.

Picture Yourself at Pega:

As a Penetration Tester at Pega, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding our infrastructure by leading offensive security campaigns and conducting thorough red teaming exercises. You'll collaborate with third-party vendors to coordinate comprehensive penetration tests and work closely with development teams as security Subject Matter Expert to address identified vulnerabilities. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to ensure they are informed about potential risks and mitigation strategies. By simulating real-world attacks, you'll help Pega stay ahead of emerging threats and continuously improve our security posture. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining a secure and resilient cloud environment.
 

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Conduct penetration tests and offensive security campaigns to identify vulnerabilities,
• Perform red teaming exercises to simulate real-world attacks and assess security defenses,
• Collaborate with other security and engineering teams as security SME to remediate identified vulnerabilities,
• Develop and maintain tools and scripts for automated security testing,
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.

Who You Are:

You are a highly skilled and technical security engineer with a passion for offensive security. You have a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and are experienced in conducting penetration tests and red teaming exercises. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are always looking for ways to improve security measures. 

What You've Accomplished:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in security/cloud/software development,
• Proven experience in penetration testing and red teaming,
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure),
• Proficiency in common penetration testing tools,
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation,
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK).
