Meet Our Team:

Pegasystems is offering exciting opportunity to join our Pega Robotics Automation team as a Software Architect, Robotics. Pega Robotics is one of the leading Robotics Process Automation (RPA) products in the market. The Architect will be a key resource that is responsible for software development and create best in class RPA products at Pega. The Architect will be responsible for working with US Stakeholders, Product Owners, Developers and QAs across the globe in our agile team structure, partner and work with the engineering teams to design and build the RPA products, perform code reviews, drive product design discussion for the team. We are seeking experienced technical professionals who can demonstrate creativity, teamwork, a results-driven attitude, and a dedication to customer success.

What You'll Do at Pega:

This person will be working with product management to translate the requirements into application features, own up the technical and architectural design of solutions, defining the quality and gating criteria of features while sharing responsibility of the deliverables from the team. Work closely with the team members in mentoring them, helping with technology issues, resolving dependencies.

Here are the high-level activities that this person owns and execute as part of roles and responsibilities.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership to technically drive strategic initiatives of limited scope for any project or scrum team
  • Communicate complex architecture/design concepts fluently to stakeholders, including showing poise in pressure situations
  • Elicit non-functional requirements to promote performance, reuse, maintainability, extensibility, etc.
  • Work on architectural and technical spikes as needed to remain ahead of and provide a clear technical direction to development teams
  • Understand business context for functional requirements and help explain that to other team members

  • You enjoy solving problems and have a zeal to learn new technologies and processes.
  • You readily adapt to changing requirements, technology choices and strive to deliver work of the highest quality.
  • You enjoy exploring the latest developments and best practices in the Software industry and applying them at work.
  • You are a team player who puts the team first, enthusiastically collaborating with and guiding other team members.
  • You take constructive feedback with an open mind and work to continuously improve yourself.
  • You are a self-starter, highly motivated, innovative, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change, and deliver against tight deadlines.

What You've Accomplished:

  • 8-10 years of Application Software development/architecture experience, preferably in a product development company
  • BS/master’s degree in computer science or equivalent from a world-class university
  • Strong understanding of Software engineering concepts and practices, algorithms and data structures
  • Excellent knowledge of architecture/design principles and patterns as well as anti-patterns
  • Strong knowledge of and practical experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology and the entire Software development process
  • Worked with internal/external customers and product owners to understand problems and provide innovative solutions
  • Strong and proven experience in development of software using .Net, C# and related technologies is a must.
  • Experience and knowledge in Robotics Process Automation concepts is desirable.
