Senior Application Quality Engineer, FS Customer Risk & Due Diligence

Meet Our Team:

We are recruiting for our team in Krakow, part of the Pegasystems Industry Applications Development function. This team is responsible for the development of industry solutions and functional components within the Financial Services domain, and it is specialized in Client Risk and Due Diligence (CRDD), which includes products like Client Lifecycle Management and Know Your Customer (CLM/KYC) and Alert and Investigation Management (AIM), used by some of our top tier Financial Institution clients.

The team works is coordination with other IAD teams across the globe in the development of business solutions. Its team members are responsible for the technical and functional quality of the developments, as well as for providing punctual assistance to the implementation and support teams that ensures the successful implementation of Pega products in our clients.

As a Quality Engineer in this agile team, you will be driving the overall solution quality, requirements fulfilment and customer success of cutting edge, large scale, enterprise applications leveraging the Pega Infinity platform.

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Ensure that testing and quality aspects are considered during the definition and implementation of Financial Services solutions.
• Work collaboratively with team members to design, develop, test, and document high-quality test specifications.
• Execute identified test cases on the application features within the committed sprint and release timelines.
• Ensure all the features delivered by the team have automated testing coverage and scripts are executed as required from DevOps pipelines.
• Write efficient and fast executing functional test automation scripts using industry standard frameworks and complying to the best practices.

• Contribute to the definition of the overall quality and testing strategy for Pega Industry Applications products.
• Coordinate and plan with other teams of the Industry Application Development practice cross-team testing exercises.
• Reduce manual testing efforts through applying innovative testing approaches and technologies.

Who You Are:

• You are passionate about test automation and code quality and eager to develop your skills within an enterprise environment while working with an industry leading product.
• You have practical knowledge of software testing best practices, testing terminologies, and writing test automations with at least one technology.  You think outside the box and use your experience for more effective collaboration.
• You are competent in identifying, documenting, and executing test cases. You have basic skill to come up with test strategy, test planning and debugging the test failures,
• You share your updates, ideas and plans competently through verbal and written communications. Attention to detail is your proficiency. You actively participate in all the scrum ceremonies to mature and make the team self-organized.

What You've Accomplished:

• Computer science bachelor’s degree or related discipline, BE/BTech or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience developing test plans from use cases.
• Practical knowledge of software testing best practices.
• Software test experience with Java, Selenium, TestNG, or other technologies.
• Exposure to Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Troubleshooting, Reverse-Engineering, or Debugging skills.
• Agile/Scrum development methodology experience.
