Senior Principal System and Storage Engineer

What You'll Do at Pega:
- Full enterprise systems lifecycle management implementation and enhancements
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective multi-cloud architectures.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives and develop strategies for moving applications and data across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure
- Optimize existing cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Establish best practices, standards, and governance for Hybrid and Cloud usage across the organization.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement cloud-native solutions and Kubernetes architectures.
- Creating and improving existing technical solutions to help Pega automate technical and business processes to add business value
Who You Are:
- A great collaborator and team player
- Multi-Cloud Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in AWS/Google Cloud/ and Azure platforms, with the ability to design and implement solutions leveraging the strengths of each cloud provider.
- Cloud Architecture Certifications: Hold at least one of the following certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Infrastructure as Code: Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation.
- Security and Compliance: In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS)45.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes), with the ability to design and implement containerized solutions across multiple cloud platforms.
A person with in-depth understanding of operating systems (Linux, Windows, applications and services
What You've Accomplished:
- Bachelor /master’s degree in related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
- 10-14+ years’ experience in relevant disciplines at similar sized company.
- 10-14+ years technical infrastructure knowledge in server operating systems such as Red hat Linux, Ubuntu, VMware ESX, Microsoft Windows, Nutanix AHV, specific to Dell and Nutanix server hardware,
- 10+ years VMWare vSphere administration
- 10+ years hands on experience administering Enterprise Storage Solutions such as Pure Storage, Rubrik and Cohesity.
- Evaluated and rationalized technical Cloud, hybrid and on-premises solutions.
Successfully implemented technical solutions to improve, automate existing technical or business processes
