What You'll Do at Pega:

The Presales Principal Architect is a highly skilled technical expert responsible for driving complex technical sales cycles. This role requires a deep understanding of our products, industry trends, and Client needs to effectively position our solutions to align with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  •  
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise. Serving as a trusted advisor to Clients, providing expert guidance on complex technical challenges.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of enterprise software architecture, design patterns, and architecture best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify new opportunities and address customer needs proactively.
  • Deeply understand our product portfolio, including features, capabilities, and limitations.

Customer Enablement:

  •  
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, including technical decision-makers and executives
  • Understand customer business objectives and challenges to position our solutions as the best fit.
  • Develop compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our solutions and their alignment with customer needs.
  • Be able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

 

Sales Enablement:

  •  
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team throughout the sales process.
  • Contribute to the development of sales collateral, such as whitepapers, case studies, datasheets, strategies, and tactics.

What You've Accomplished:

  • 10+ years of experience in presales, architecture, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record of success in a presales role, with a focus on complex software solutions.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of software development methodologies, programming languages, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications in [relevant technologies, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Pega CLSA, CCNP, CISSP, TOGAF, Zackman, etc.]. Experience with [specific software development methodologies, e.g., Agile, DevOps].

What Categories of Veterans Are “Protected” by VEVRAA?

  1. A “disabled veteran” is one of the following:
    1. a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or
    2. a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.
  2. A “recently separated veteran” means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.
  3. An “active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran” means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.
  4. An “Armed forces service medal veteran” means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.
