The Office of Integrated Veteran Care (IVC) Veteran Family Member Program (VFMP) provides benefits to veterans, spouses, children, and caregivers of a veteran through five lesser known but federally mandated programs within the VA. In 2022, the time required to determine eligibility for the VFMP hit a critical state – six months from physical mail submission to eligibility determination.
