As a member of one of the most innovative and fastest-growing groups at Pega, you will work closely with talented engineers and product owners across the globe (US/EU/India) to build a highly scalable Software as a Service (SaaS) offering.

What You'll Do at Pega:

40% - Product Testing 

• Drive development and execution of the test strategy, test plan and acceptance tests in collaboration with the team for the features delivered by the team. 

• Work collaboratively with team members to design, develop, test, and document high-quality test specifications for the features delivered by the team. 

40% - Test Automation Development 

• Ensure all the features delivered have test automation written and executed in the daily build pipelines. 

• Write efficient and fast executing functional test automation scripts using industry standard frameworks and complying to the best practices. 

10% - Monitoring, Stakeholder collaborations, Customer/client engagements, Innovation 

• Ensure the features developed by the Agile team are tested thoroughly within the sprint and release timelines. 

• Reduce manual testing efforts through applying innovative testing approaches and technologies. 

10% - Collaboration, coordination of team & cross-team testing 

• Collaborate with the Product Management, Development, UX design group, and other stakeholders to build high-quality features.  

• Provide technical assistance to the team by providing reproducible environments, logs/debug information, regression use cases/test cases, and test assets/infrastructure to advance products' capabilities and resolve issues. 

Who You Are:

• You are passionate about test automation and code quality and eager to develop your skills within an enterprise environment while working with an industry leading product. You have practical knowledge of software testing best practices, testing terminologies, and writing test automations with at least one technology.  You think outside the box and use your experience for more effective collaboration. 

• You are competent in test strategy, test planning along with identifying, documenting, and executing test cases. You understand the flow of code and how it interacts with different components. You are also competent with debugging the test failures. You have skills required to technically lead any project at a team level. 

• You share your updates, ideas and plans competently through verbal and written communications. Attention to detail is your proficiency. You actively participate in all the scrum ceremonies to mature and make the team self-organized. 

What You've Accomplished:

• 2-4 years of experience developing test plans from use cases  

• Strong knowledge of software testing best practices 

• Strong Software test experience with Selenium Java, Cucumber, TestNG, or other technologies 

• Nice to have Playwright experience. 

• Experience in testing mobile applications and web applications 

• Troubleshooting, Reverse-Engineering, or Debugging skills 

• Good to have skills (Security and Performance testing) 

• Agile/Scrum development methodology experience
