We are living and working in a hybrid world. Your home doubles as your office. Sporadic in-person meetings feel like special social events (or at the very least, give us an excuse to dress up and leave the house). We continue to adjust and adapt to new ways of working while trying to keep pace with constantly evolving markets and technology.

In his keynote, Pega’s CEO and Founder, Alan Trefler, explains how businesses can successfully move from increased complexity to increased dexterity, one step at a time. By taking a step-by-step approach, businesses can simplify complexity and solve problems in the most effective ways. Alan shares that by having the right architecture and applications in place, organizations are enabled and empowered to easily access, leverage, and deploy the best tech solutions for their specific needs. He also shares how new process mining capabilities and a new partnership with Google Cloud Platform will help accelerate businesses forward.

 

As our work and home lives collide, we need a way to cut through the noise so we can find our focus and be ready for what’s next. Don Schuerman, Pega’s chief technology officer and vice president of product strategy, and Katie Alberti, senior product marketing manager for intelligent automation, provide suggestions to achieving balance and moments of clarity through insights from Pega’s research report, The Future of IT. This report talks about new technologies designed to support work-life balance, how the IT role is evolving, and the skills we will need for the future of IT.

Ads are everywhere. Consumers are bombarded with gratuitous business ads every time they look at their phone or computer. It’s almost second nature to ignore them. So, why spend time and money on ads that consumers ignore? Thankfully, there is a more effective option. Rather than list the ways organizations can create hyper-personalized customer experiences, listen to this real story from a real customer. Marty Hicks, vice president of consumer strategy and planning at T-Mobile, shared how T-Mobile achieved true relevance and customer personalization with Pega’s decisioning capabilities.

 

Booking.com, one of the world’s leading brands for online accommodation reservation services, is on a mission to make it easier for everyone to experience the world. Sonia van der Linden-Pugal, global innovation lead at Booking.com, talked about the challenges that came with the company’s growing product portfolio, specifically around customer support. By teaming up with Pega, Booking.com was able to provide a more integrated and intuitive customer service platform.

 

It’s wild to think about how much can change in a year or even one week. Now, imagine how much could happen in 320 years! That’s how long Lloyds Banking Group has been in business. With centuries of experience under their belt, Lloyds has become a champion of adaptability and intelligent automation.

Juan Gómez-Reino, chief technology officer at Lloyds Banking Group, describes how Pega is supporting Lloyds Banking Group’s latest strategic vision for helping Britain prosper, including revenue growth and diversification, and maximizing the potential of people, technology, and data. With Pega, Lloyds Banking Group has consolidated processes, simplified tech, improved efficiencies in their operating model, and enhanced the customer and employee experience.
