Cloud Development Engineer, Control Plane Services
Meet Our Team:
The number of our Pega Cloud SaaS and PaaS customers is rapidly growing. We are looking for individuals who will help us to drive this growth by building highly scalable cutting-edge Cloud Services. As part of this team, you will be at the heart of our Pega Cloud – building out the Control Plane that orchestrates every single deployment of our services. Your task will be to ensure consistency of Pega Cloud by implementing state-of-the-art deployment models with built-in observability, effective troubleshooting, and recovery capabilities.

We are looking for a highly engaged, technically strong and collaborative individual with a positive attitude who wants to help us with achieving our goal - being the "Top 1" CRM SaaS company in the world! Our Pega Cloud team is distributed globally with three major technology centers in the US, in the EU and in India.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Develop tooling supporting orchestration for thousands of Cloud environments,
- Work daily with Go, Java, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Docker,
- Work within Scrum, DevOps and MVP frameworks,
- Continuously improve, refine, and refactor the code base and configuration tools.
Who You Are:
You are an effective communicator and collaborator. Also, you demonstrate initiative and autonomy at work.
What You've Accomplished:
- Ideally 2-4 years of experience in software design and development,
- Knowledge of Go, Java, Python, or similar,
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud, GCP, or similar,
- Hands on experience with basic DevOps automation and pipeline tools,
- Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker or similar,
- Very good command of English.
It will be great, but not required if you have familiarity with:
- Basic concepts of Infrastructure as a Code principles (Terraform),
- Cloud Operations good practices,
- Microservices and Stateless Architecture,
- DevOps + Agile + MVP methodologies,
- Quality oriented mindset.
