You will expand your skills by working on a portfolio of industry leading technologies and tools spanning AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions/Webhooks/Custom Apps, Python, YAML, Artifactory, SVN etc. You will be part of a tightly knit, highly energetic team and have many opportunities to make a positive impact and grow in your career.

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Support the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of DevOps tools hosted on-premise and AWS Cloud and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Help manage artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory to improve software delivery efficiency.
  • Contribute to automating infrastructure and CI/CD workflows using scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting.
  • Work alongside senior engineers to deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor and improve CI/CD pipeline performance and reliability, leveraging caching and parallel workflows.
  • Assist in setting up observability and monitoring using tools like Grafana, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in software builds, deployments, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with developers, SREs, and stakeholders to ensure smooth software delivery.
  • Learn and grow in cloud-native DevOps technologies, continuously improving skills and contributing to team success.

Who You Are:

  • A curious and motivated engineer eager to learn and grow in the DevOps and CI/CD automation space.
  • Passionate about software delivery through automation, scalability, and efficiency.
  • A team player with strong problem-solving skills, able to collaborate effectively with developers, SREs, and stakeholders.
  • Open to feedback, eager to learn from experienced engineers, and proactive in exploring new technologies.

What You've Accomplished:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in software development or DevOps, with exposure to CI/CD infrastructure, pipelines and automation.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions for automating builds, tests, and deployments.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services (EC2, IAM, Lambda, EKS, S3, etc) and understanding of containerization using Docker.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes (EKS) and a willingness to learn more about cloud-native deployment practices.
  • Experience working with JFrog Artifactory or other package management tools for artifact storage.
  • Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, or another programming language for automation.
  • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Splunk, or AWS CloudWatch.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues in software delivery pipelines.
  • Basic knowledge of Gradle and Java for build automation / Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD) is a plus.
